Identity verification is the most fundamental of all our pre-employment checks. It is normally the first check performed and a registration cannot be completed until we are satisfied that a person’s identity is proven.

Verification of identity checks are designed to:

Determine that the identity is genuine and relates to a real person
Establish that the individual owns and is rightfully using that identity

Direct Medics Ltd verifies identity by requesting original documents; our ID verification process is designed to satisfy relevant Employment Check Standards and the pre-disclosure ID verification requirements for your Police clearance.

Method of Verification:

As with all of our checks, you have options to choose from when verifying your identity. If you require guidance or should you have difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact your Compliance Officer.

Our ID checks are carried out digitally, via a secure ID verification third party site. You may then be required to complete a quick check with a member of our team via Microsoft teams. This depends on the region you are working in, and the type of ID or right to work you hold; your compliance officer will guide you on this.

You are also very welcome to attend a verification appointment in addition to digital checks, either at one of our offices or at a location to suit you, if you prefer. Just let your compliance officer know, and this can be arranged.

Your Direct Medics Identity Badge

Once your identification documents are confirmed, you will be provided with a Direct Medics identity badge, which must be brought along and worn during your placements with us. To allow us to produce this correctly, please provide one good-quality passport-size photograph.
